SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
NOTE: This contest is open to ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE. No professional qualifications are necessary.
• International submissions welcome. (Winner will be responsible for their own lodging and transportation to and from Los Angeles).
• Project Log Line
• Project Summary (Key production details, unique elements, extended description, Number of Cast, Setting: Present, Past or Future, Locations etc) 250 words or less.
• 10-40 Page Short Film Script (PDF and standard screenplay format)
• Script authorship must belong to the filmmaker.
• Personal/Vision Statement (Please describe your goals as a filmmaker and your artistic vision. Why do you think you’re a match for this award).
• If available, you are welcome to include in your Personal Statement any links to prior work samples or reel , if any. (THIS IS NOT REQUIRED).
• Current Production Status, if any.
• There is no limit to the number of projects you can submit.
• Applicants must be 18 or older or legally emancipated.
• All submission fees are non-refundable.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
• CINEMA COLLABORATORIUM SCRIPT TO SCREEN CONTEST TERMS, CONDITIONS AND RELEASE:
• Winner grants permission to Cinema Collaboratorium to 1. produce, 2. screen, 3. promote the completed short film resulting from the production.
• All screenplay submissions are confidential and will be used solely for assessment for the contest and to promote the selected work , writer and filmmakers.
• Marketing and promotion of the film will be in collaboration with the film maker.
• We welcome submissions from writers or directors with acquired rights to a written project or adaptation. Documented rights ownership is required.
By applying for this contest, each contestant agrees to release and hold harmless Cinema Collaboratorium, One Star’s Light Productions LLC, Indigo Veil Media, SunCat Productions, www.CinemaCollab.com, its subsidiary, parent and affiliated companies, contributors, Sponsors, and any other organizations responsible for administering, advertising or promoting this Short Film Fund and Grant Program and Promotion, and every one of their respective members, directors, employees, agents and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”) past and present from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liability, including but not limited to damages and negligence to property and persons, including but not limited to invasion of privacy, defamation, slander, libel, violation of right of publicity, copyright, infringement of trademark or other intellectual property rights relating to a participant’s Entry, participation in the Promotion and/or acceptance or use or misuse of Prize; provided however, that such release will not apply to any commercial exploitation of the script by a Released Party in violation of your rights under applicable copyright law; and (c) indemnify, defend and hold harmless all related parties including Cinema Collaboratorium, One Star’s Light Productions LLC, Indigo Veil Media, Indigo Veil LLC, SunCat Productions, www.CinemaCollab.com and its Sponsor, agents and employees from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liabilities (including reasonable attorneys fees) relating to an entrant’s participation in the Program and/or entrant’s use or misuse of awarded grant. Employees of Cinema Collaboratorium, One Star’s Light Productions LLC, Indigo Veil Media, Indigo Veil LLC, SunCat Productions, www.CinemaCollab.com and their immediate families are ineligible to participate in this contest. Any such submission will be immediately disqualified. This grant program is void where restricted by any Federal, State or Local law. Recipients’ eligibility will be verified before the grant is awarded and the winner may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility.
